About the Role
We are seeking to recruit a qualified, passionate and self-driven candidate to fill up the role in the Design & Marketing department.
Your role will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail.
Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you!
This individual will be responsible for:
Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials and determining requirements
Schedule projects and define budget constraints
Illustrating and conceptualizing visual concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
Preparing rough drafts and finished art by operating necessary equipment and software plus presenting ideas to the supervisor
Collaborating and communicating with different teams to gather requirements about layout and design.
Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as photoshop or by hand
Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.
Work with necessary collaborators to amend designs & layouts after feedback then finalize the design
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing with appropriate colours, layouts and on-brand
Test graphics across various media
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.
Strong copywriting skills.
Attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage budgets.
Professional and proactive work ethic.
High competence in project and stakeholder management.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Experience as a graphic designer or in a related field.
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator.
A strong eye for visual composition.
Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
Experience with computer-aided design.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
