About the Role

We are seeking to recruit a qualified, passionate and self-driven candidate to fill up the role of a CQI Lead.

The CQI Data lead provides data analysis and visualization for all program activities CQI activities leading to the achievement of the 95-95-95 goals for HIV epidemic control.
S/he will work with the CQI lead to develop, implement, and monitor HIV CQI activities.
S/he supports the development and implementation of SOPs and other tools related to HIV adult treatment, retention, and prevention across all program regions and facilities and implement evidence-based quality improvement approaches, program data, and regular, pro-active communication measures to guide program development, and management.
The CQI Data lead will work in close collaboration with the CQI lead, MEL Specialist and Data Manager to incorporate CQI methodologies as a key approach to achieve program outcomes and use data to drive decision-making.
S/he will closely work with the MEL Specialist and Evaluation lead to develop and implement Program Evaluations including baseline, mid-line, end-line assessments

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Take lead in data analysis to support CQI initiative, needs assessment for CQI and support CQI lead with implementation

  • Using Data visualizations and dashboards to support benchmarking, spread, and implementation of best practices

  • Lead data analysis, target re-calibration as part of remediation interventions following program performance assessment

  • Serve as M&E focal person on the development and management of the HIV continuous quality improvement and evaluation portfolio.

  • Lead and support CQI lead with data analytics on all aspects of program implementation, from design to planning, implementation, monitoring & evaluation, status review and progress of programs.

  • Develop R/DQA and county/sub-county program review work plans that align with budget and support routine budget monitoring for program in collaboration with MEL Specialist.

  • Provide technical support in adaptation and implementation of the program’s monitoring and evaluation framework including understanding and integrating set performance indicators in routine facility meetings with CQI activities

  • Provide overall QI/M&E leadership and technical guidance to relevant program areas in all CQI activities.

  • Support the development of proposals, protocols, and instruments for selected assessments and evaluations included in the annual work plan.

  • Ensure systematic, consistent collection, compilation, and dissemination of CQI activities.

  • Dissemination of findings and developing presentations for CQI activities.

  • Ensure submission of all required donor reports by scheduled deadlines. Other duties as assigned

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the CQI lead/MEL Specialist/DCOP/COP


Education


  • A Bachelor’s degree in either Public Administration, Journalism, Secretarial Studies, Law, Language Studies or related field.



Minimum requirements


At a minimum, the CQI Lead will have:


  • At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar position in a large organization

  • Possess superlative communication (written, spoken and electronic) skills
